    These are excellent. I’ve never liked the beans I’ve made in the past. Always wished I could make them like my mom, or better yet, like grandma. I’ve finally made great beans. Followed recipe exactly and added 1/2 Tablespoon of salt near the end of cooking.

    I am from Texas and I love a homemade pot of Pinto beans. Reminds me of Saturday afternoons growing up. There was always a pot of Pintos on the stove. This recipe was close to what I remember.
