I’m not the best at making roasts, but this one turned out pretty good. Also rib round roasts are low grade piece of meat. I don’t have a regular oven, that can be sealed tightly. I baked mine in a conventional oven and the highest heat is 450* F so I did it for 8 minutes per pound and let it sit for 30 minutes.

Loved the ease and speedy prep of this recipe! I have never been successful at consistently achieving a moist roast, this recipe does it! Think I’ll leave off the garlic next time tho.

So easy and nothing but raves from the whole family. I used Cajun seasoning the first time i made it. Today, I used Mexican seasoning. I cannot say it enough:. EASY.

This is the best way to cook eye if round roasts! We have used this method several times and it always comes out perfect.

I made a pork loin using a similar cooking method to this just recently. Both the pork and this eye of round were PERFECT! The result was a perfect medium-pink color and very tender moist meat. Only seasoning was salt and pepper. The garlic insertions infused a very nice taste through out. Excellent recipe.
