- 1.5 kilograms boneless skinless chicken (or boned, Cut into medium size pieces)
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil (for sauting)
- 2 tomatoes (Medium sized, chopped fine)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 4 green chilis (Chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. ginger garlic paste
- coriander leaves (A small bunch of chopped, / Cilantro)
- 1 Tbsp. yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. milk & cream (Optional, just to give thickness to gravy)
- 1 cup water
- salt (as per taste)
- 7 cloves
- 7 black pepper corns
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 inches cinnamon stick (long)
- 1 tsp. saunf (/ Fennel seeds)
- 2 tsp. kasuri methi (/ Dry fenugreek leaves)
- 2 Tbsp. red chili powder (Kashmiri, Adjust according to how spicy you prefer)
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 Tbsp. spice mix (Tandoori Masala, I used home made)
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder (Optional)
