- 1/2 lb. ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 small onion (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. bell pepper (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 oz. tomato sauce (canned, 1/4 can)
- 5 Tbsp. shredded Mexican cheese blend (part-skim)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (or unbleached all purpose)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder (make sure it’s not expired or it won’t rise)
- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt (use less if using table salt)
- 1 cup non fat Greek yogurt (use Stonyfield or Fage, not regular yogurt, not Chobani, it will be too sticky)
- 1 whole egg (beaten)

the Empinadas ended up turning out good but i had some difficulty with the dough it is very delicate and the instructions said to roll the dough out thin to get 10 rounds however doing that caused the dough to tear so when i made more out of the excess dough i made the rounds a bit thicker not much and i powdered the round in flour to lesswn the stickiness and was able to make those in the air fryer all of them came out really good but next time i wpuld use pre made rounds and just make the bagels woth the 3 ingredient dough
