So yummy! Definitely labor intensive, took a couple hours to serve. Added cornstarch to the sauce to make it thicker and added pineapple juice to give it more of a sour taste, came out amazing. Everyone in the house loved it. Also cut the required vinegar in half.
I don’t recommend baking for an entire hour, it dried out the chicken a bit. I think 30-45 mins top should be enough. Worth it!!!

it turned out really good. i made less chicken so it soaked up more sauce which made it taste so good. definitely going to try again.

Mixed reviews from the fam, hubby and I really enjoyed it but the kids said it had to much vinegar and I even cut back on it. Doubled the sauce and added 1/2 tsp of ginger and some red chilli flakes. One thing I loved about the chicken is that you can switch it up with a Honey Garlic or Thai chili Chili sauce! Served it with Jasmine Rice, Broccoli and Spring Rolls.😋

It turned out pretty well. I would prefer my sauce to be a little more sweet. I may add some Pineapple juice or brown sugar next time. Good crisp on the chicken.

Recipe turned out great. It was a little sweet more than sour. So the second time around I added a bit of ginger to balance the flavours better. Goes great with a bell pepper stir fry and some rice!

I feel it takes longer than 90 minutes from prep to finish but it is well worth it. It's extremely good!

It turned out great! This recipe is labor-intensive, somewhat but worth it in the end. Flavor was superb. I would probably add some form of fresh hot peppers to this and maybe something sticky like honey or corn syrup. We wanted thirds but behaved ourselves so we could enjoy it again tomorrow. It is very hard not to keep eating because the small tasty pieces just melt in your mouth.

This was a wonderful tasting recipe, well worth the time to get it to the table. The only thing I did different was use olive oil instead of canola and I didn't have any chicken breasts so I used thighs.. Using thighs, I didn't need to bake it for an hour to finish the chicken. If I had sriracha, I would have added a bit of that as well as it could use a touch of heat! This is a keeper and I will make again.
