    This was ok but tastes NOTHING like sweet and sour chicken. Sauce is balanced in terms of sweet flavor vs sour vs savory vs salty, but it tastes very American, not like good Chinese takeout flavors. Disappointing.

    My kids loved this! I made it exactly as written though it only needed about 30 min in the oven as my chicken pieces were small and browned nicely. My daughters are very particular about sweet and sour chicken and this I will definitely make again I personally thought it was way too sweet so I will cut the sugar in half next time There was enough sauce for the basmati rice and steamed broccoli I served it with
