Too sweet, this recipe calls for way too much sugar and I did not even use the full amount. I added half a jalapeño for an extra layer of spice and squeezed lemon juice to countereffect some of the sweetness. Overall, it tasted okay but it would have been much better if it was not so sweet. If I make this recipe again, I would surely use a whole lot less sugar, maybe 2-3 teaspoons instead of a full cup as the recipe calls for. Also, 1 tablespoon of salt is too much for just 4 tomatoes, l reduced the amount of salt too.
