- 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
- 16 oz. sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
- 16 oz. okra (trimmed and sliced)
- 2 tsp. salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1 tsp. Tabasco Pepper Sauce (I use a favorite hot sauce that isn’t as spicy as Tabasco)
- 1 tsp. paprika (smoked or regular)
- 2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 Tbsp. natural peanut butter

Will most definitely be making this again!! I used kidney beans in place of the chick peas and only used half of the cayenne pepper suggested

Good. Excellent taste. I reduced the cayenne pepper so kiddos could enjoy & received 2 thumbs up from my grands!
