I used bacon instead...
I found (at Sam's Club) a mix of pecans and dried cranberries and used a handful of the mix for this dish.

This recipe turned out very good and even my husband who hates brussel sprouts came back for seconds. I used bacon since I didn’t have pork belly on hand.
