- 4 cups water (divided)
- 1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke (divided)
- 3 bay leaves (dried, or fresh, OPTIONAL)
- 6 cups kale
- 3 sweet potatoes (medium, peeled and chopped)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cajun seasoning mix (Homemade Creole, additional)
- 1 Tbsp. sea salt (Himalayan pink)
