- 2 tsp. grated lemon zest (finely)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

It was absolutely delicious. I did a few things differently. I ground up the lavender with some of the sugar so the flavor would spread a little more and I wouldnt bite into a chunk of lavender, which I think would be a bit overwhelming. On the same note, I didn't top the scone with lavender. It would have made it look better, but I didn't care, I added more sugar to the top instead. yum
