This was the best cornbread I ever made. It wasn’t dry, but very moist. I would definitely make this again.

This was awesome!!! I’m not a big cornbread lover, but this recipe may have changed my mind!!! (I cut the sugar in half)

Really good. Fluffy, sweet and everything it claims. I served with meatloaf, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans! Turned the whole meal up!

This was great. Best recipe so far. I love a crunchy rim and bottom crust. Will try a half recipe in my cast iron pan next.

This is a “do it again” recipe. It’s easy and tasty. I enjoyed making it for my family.

Very good but a lil too sweet. I could have used less sugar, 1 cup instead of 1 and a half cup. And less vanilla extract. I used 2 tspns of vanilla extract because it looked like a lot of batter. But I should have stuck to recipe and used one tspn. I substituted almond milk for regular milk and corn bread was still very good.

Moist, used less butter and sugar than the recipe. It was still sweet and moist, so cutting back works.

This was very good corn bread. I'm not a huge corn bread fan, but I wanted some to go with my chili. This really hit the spot. Maybe if this was the cornbread I had first, I would be cornbread fan.

Came out great. Good texture and just what I was looking for: sweet cornbread it went great with the BBQ we did

If you cook as directed (until a toothpick comes out dry) its double the cooking time and too long and the bread is dry.
Its much too sweet so next time I'll cut sugar in half and not cook until toothpick is dry, and instead cook until top is set. Other then being a bit too sweet and too dry, its very good.

Mine turned out dry but it was super tasty my oven should have been lower or I goofed something and I used a skillet instead

It needed far more time than the recipe called for and wound up very dry. Would suggest less wet ingredients next time.
