    If you cook as directed (until a toothpick comes out dry) its double the cooking time and too long and the bread is dry. Its much too sweet so next time I'll cut sugar in half and not cook until toothpick is dry, and instead cook until top is set. Other then being a bit too sweet and too dry, its very good.

    Mine turned out dry but it was super tasty my oven should have been lower or I goofed something and I used a skillet instead

    It needed far more time than the recipe called for and wound up very dry. Would suggest less wet ingredients next time.

    If you like sweet corn bread, this is the recipe for you! It is very easy and even more tasty. I took it for a holiday. People who don’t eat dessert we’re eating it after their meal. A couple of people said they couldn’t stop eating it because it was the best corn bread they ever had.

    This is my 2nd time making this. It was a hit at family dinner, but a bit too sweet. So I only used 3/4 cup sugar for my second try. Perfect!

    I've made this several times and it's always moist and delicious. Last time I forgot the butter, but did put in 1/2 cup oil and it was still good. I also always sub coconut sugar. It darkens it a bit, but delicious.

    This turned out awsome. We love corn bread, and the consistency was perfect, not to dry not to moist. My fiancee told me i need to make two batches next time i make it.
    Very nice But I used half the sugar because DAM that's a lot of sugar even using half it was sweet and yummy without over powering the main meal

    Really great easy recipe. The bread is on the sweeter side and super moist. It was a hit when I made it. I paired it with homemade chili.
