Wow, The lingonberry added a whole new flavor I have never tasted before! We had the meatballs served on top of mashed potatoes. Saving this recipe for sure. So good!!

Unbelievably delicious! I made with ground venison and as someone who doesn’t like venison- this recipe made me love it! I used red onion, didn’t add any of the berry sauce, and I substituted the nutmeg and cardamom with onion salt and garlic powder. Turned out terrific! I seriously can’t give this recipe enough stars!!!

I use this to impress my friends all the time.

I omitted the cardemom and used a combo of beef, pork and veal. These were so good! Using bread soaked in milk instead of breadcrumbs made all the difference in the world!

Fairly easy, but too much cardamom and the gravy was lacking something. we are moving on to a different recipe

They cooked up just fine. Recipe was easy enough to follow, no fancy skills needed. Turns out we just don’t really like the sauce... would make them again, but for us, would not put the sour cream in the sauce. I would leave it as a beefy gravy.

I substituted turkey and chicken broth for the beef and pork and beef broth since one of my guests had a beef allergy. Turned out great and I received tons of compliments!

    Absolutely delicious

I really liked this recipe! Lots of great flavor. Seemed like one-quart was a bit too much stock, but I just added a bit more flour to resolve that issue. Thumbs up from kids and adults alike.

This is the second time I've made this. Only this time around, we didn't have the ground pork or bread so I just used ground beef and panko. Still came out delicious! Oh, I also had to replace the butter that I originally browned the meatballs in. I didn't want a burnt flavor in the sauce.

This took a long time to make but the results were fantastic. I served with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.

This is my favorite Swedish meatball recipe. The sauce looks a little odd at first but keep at it. Meatball prep is the hard part. There are zero rest breaks until the balls go in the sauce so be prepared.

since i didn't have any lingonberries, i substituted equal parts red current jelly and cooked cranberries

Delicious! I've got five kids ages 2-8 and it was a huge hit with everyone of them! I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of the allspice since I didn't have any.
