    The meatballs had a lot of flavor but the sauce needed a TON of extra seasoning. I added onion powder, garlic, more salt, pepper, more mustard and worcestershire. It was just super bland as written and the allspice didnt seem to match the taste of the meatballs so I swapped that out for the above mentioned additions.

    the meatballs were way too soft and falling apart. sauce didnt taste good at all. tried to season it better than what the recipe called for but it was a lost cause. wont make this again.

    the 5 stars are for the meatballs. they were so good. my sauce tasted bad but i realized too late that i only had vegetable broth. however this was my best roux to date.
