- 160 grams sushi rice
- 210 mL water (plus more for washing and soaking the rice)
- 1 Tbsp. rice wine (miri, Japanese, – we actually used toasted sesame oil, but miri is the traditional ingredient)
- 3 nori (sushi sheets, I think packets often come in 5s, but we only made 3 from a whole tin of salmon)
- 3 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 can salmon (105g)
- 1/2 pepper (cut into very thin strips)
- 1 handful chives
- pickled ginger
- wasabi
- dark soy sauce
