- 1/3 cup medjool dates (pitted and soaked in warm water if they need softening)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup (or rice malt syrup, they will be a little less sweet)
- 1/2 cup hemp seed (hearts)
- 2 Tbsp. hemp seeds (whole)
- 2 Tbsp. ground flax seeds (or milled, OR chia seeds, to make an egg-substitute*)
- 2 Tbsp. Sunflower Flour (or sunflower seeds)
- 3 Tbsp. raw cacao
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Himalayan pink salt (or fine sea salt)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 3/4 cup apple sauce (unsweetened)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
