- 3/4 tsp. sea salt
- 4 cups black beans (cooked)
- 5 slices jalapeno pepper (bottled, slices, I used “Tamed” jalapeno for a hint of spice.)
- 1 Tbsp. jalapeño (brine)
- 3 cloves garlic (coarsely chopped)
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar (I used coconut sugar.)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. paprika (I used smoked paprika, but you could use regular.)
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. adobo sauce (from canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce)
- 1 wedge lime (squeezed in)
- cooking liquid (Reserved, if needed)
