Description
Yummy sugar cookies in bar form. . . doesn't get any easier or better, topped with sour cream frosting . . .YUM!
Ingredients

- 3/4 cup butter (at room temp)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- frosting
- 3/4 cup butter (room temp)
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 cups powdered sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 milk (or n-half, if needed to get to desired consistency)
- food coloring (optional)
- sprinkles (optional)

Directions
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each egg. Mix in vanilla and sour cream.
- In a separate bowl whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to wet mixture and mix just until combined. Press into a greased, rimmed baking sheet (large cookie sheet).
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
- FROSTING: Cream together butter and sour cream, vanilla and salt. Slowly add powdered sugar. Mix until smooth. Add half-n-half or milk if needed to get your frosting to the desired consistency. Add food coloring, if using. Spread evenly over cooled sugar cookie bars and sprinkle with sprinkles, if using.
