I gave it 2 stars because the flavor isn't terrible, but it does NOT taste like strawberries. Like someone else said, it tastes more like a banana flavor. Having some knowledge of baking I was able to fix the frosting. It was very thick and like the cupcakes did not have a strong strawberry flavor. I blended strawberries and used that as a way to thin it out and give it a strawberry flavor. This recipe was quickly removed from my list of saved items.

The cupcake really didn't have any strawberry taste to it. Oddly enough it actually kinda more reminded me of a banana bread taste. The icing was ok but I added extra freeze dried strawberry powder to try to amp up the flavor and make up for the lack there of in the cupcake.
