- 2 cloves garlic (minced, about 2 teaspoons)
- 1 1/2 tsp. honey (omit to make the recipe Whole30 or Paleo)

- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves (chopped fresh, and tender stems)
- 1/2 red onion (small, diced, about 1/4 cup)

- 1 jalapeno (medium, cored seeded and finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
