Delicious!! My mom made this for my fiancé. Easy to make but time consuming. It does not travel well though, the top layer slid. The cake had a creamy flavor. The whipped cream made it light. Will make again and again.

We loved it so much that we’re making again for July 4th and going to decorate with strawberries and blueberries. I did add the vanilla pudding powder to the whip cream and it stabilized it, piped the whip cream onto the cake, was beautiful, light and delicious. Easy to make.

Great cake! Huge success. Solved the goopy topping. I topped the cake with the strawberries and poked with a toothpick so the juice would enter the cake . I let it sit a while and then I topped with the whip cream. I put vanilla pudding powder in the whipped cream to stabilize it.

I am normally a horrible baker but this turned out amazing! It was super moist and light and fresh. Will definitely make this again!
