This recipe came out so good. I switched up add a little water to make it easy to spread and I kept mine in the oven for about 25 minutes.
It was sweet and soft. Great for the summer time. Quick and easy

I made the fatal mistake of using strawberry cream cheese. Not cooked at all; learn from my mistake and do not use that.

Have to retry this. We definitely didn’t cook it long enough (and I didn’t pay attention to the time In general vs the requested time to use). I also didn’t have fresh strawberries in my budget so I would love to remake this with strawberries. I also did not have a electric mixer, I think it makes the difference. My finish product was very interesting, tasty but texture was “wet”.

I love this recipe! It was easy to fallow, and the results are wonderful! requested every time for mostly every occasion!

not overly impressed with this. much prefer chocolate brownie over this recipe. hubby enjoyed it, but I wouldn't make this again. too doughy for my taste. my 4 boys also did not like this.

Delicious & the star of the show. It was a hit. I added mini dark chocolate chips & a little water to make it easier to spread in pan. Baked for 20 minutes, YUM!

Batter was so thick that my hand mixer stopped. I added a little water which made by batter more cake like in the end. Also I added chocolate chips. It was tasty but I didnt like the consistency.

super tasty! Think all these other people leaving reviews didn't follow the instructions properly! I used the vegetable oil and 4 oz of cream cheese. i wonder if some of the reviews followed directions on the cake box then followed directions for this because don't do that! i thought the directions were very clear! Mix just the egg, oil, cream cheese, and cake mix! I used an 8x8 pan because it's all i had free at the moment and cooked for about 27 minutes and it was a little gooy in the middle but i didn't want it overcooked because I like my mixes a little gooy in the middle anyways.
i suggest using the 8x8 pan. seems like the reviews are better.

It was ok. It just tasted like regular brownie, it didn’t have the fruity flavor. But if it was a regular brownie I I would give it 5 Stars. I mean if I were to title this food a fruit I would probably title it Apple brownies. When I bit it tasted like an apple. An apple brownie, yuck. You don’t make apple brownies.

So, these are pretty good.. I used melted butter, and added an additional tablespoon or so of vegetable oil during mixing because I didn't feel they were moist enough. I folded in some white chocolate chips too. I used an 8x8 dish, because that's all I had handy. They took about 27 minutes to cook completely. Underneath the strawberries, they were still a little gooey, but they were cooked everywhere else and I didn't want to bake them any longer for fear of drying them out. I sliced the strawberries pretty thin, but I don't know if slicing them any thinner would help this or not. I like my brownies gooey so this didn't bother me. Only giving 4 stars because I felt like the instructions for this recipe were poorly written; the photos clearly show a bigger pan than a 9x9, so it's somewhat misleading. But overall the taste is pretty good. Probably won't make them again though.

I was very disappointed. My husband & I each tasted them and then I threw them in the trash. I will not be making this again.

Followed recipe exactly. Not enough moisture for brownies to cook. If I were try it again, would definitely add more liquid.

It turned out like cake! It might be accidentally b/c I followed the cake mix box and added 3 eggs instead of 1. Also, I added white chocolate morsels! SOOO GOOD!!! Also, add cream cheese. Even more than 1/4 would be good. Greeeeat except it’s definitely a cake and not brownie.

Tasted good but it took a lot of extra time to cook these than the recipe said.
