I reduced the chili powder to a heaping tbsp. It would have had just the right amount of spicy had I not hesitated. Also, I forgot to cut the steak into cubes. Luckily it was amazing, the meat was so tender - it just fell apart in a gorgeous way and the mildness of the chili prevented a sour cream addition.
Made with jalapeno cheddar corn bread. So good, tasted like nacho bread.
The other human in my house enjoyed it equally. Bless the autumn brisk, the desire to nest, and the warm chili stews.
