Not enough pumpkin. It actually tastes more like a spice cake flavor. Also, I love scones because they are not too sweet, I prefer them to muffins. These are actually not quite sweet enough and could do with a tiny bit more than a dash of salt. I am going to try double the amount of pumpkin, a little more sugar and a couple more dashes of salt. The texture was good and I would like them to be sweet enough to eat without the glaze.
