I've tried multiple banana bread recipes and I think this is the one I'm settling on for the meantime because it's been the best one thus far. I did however, make a few adjustments and it still turned out fairly well. I added 1c of sugar instead of the 1 1/8c I also added 4 oz of unsweetened apple sauce since my bananas were more medium sized. I did 1/4c of melted butter and 1/4c of vegetable oil, I added the milk and vinegar separately into the mixture (2 Tbsp of whole milk and ~ 1/8 tsp of white vinegar), and I omitted the cinnamon. Bread still turned out fairly well. Baking tip if using a 9x5 instead of an 8x4 (based off my baking experience of this recipe): Bake at 325 degrees F, for about 40-45 minutes (depending on how brown or crispy you like the top to be) then lightly cover with aluminum foil to prevent further browning and help insulate the heat to cook the middle more for another 5-10 minutes to your desired finish. I had baked mine for 50 minutes before covering with aluminum because it was turning way too brown and the middle was still coming out wet and totaled 60 minutes until finished. The above tip is what I would recommend for a better loaf.

Excellent recipe. Many compliments. Used a glazed walnut as well as pecans and walnuts mixed.

This is an easy and delicious recipe. I used 4 bananas, since that’s what I had on hand. The texture and flavor are great

I made this once since I’m an avid Starbucks banana nut purchaser and let me state, “This is a great copycat”!!!!

It was a little on the sweet side for me. Since I had 4 ripe bananas, thats what I used, that could account for the sweetness. I couldnt find what temperature to bake it at so I had to look at another recipe.

Pretty darn good. I didn’t use buttermilk and I used 4 small bananas. Definitely would make it again.

Turned out great, I didn’t have nor wanted to make buttermilk so I put sour cream instead, every one enjoyed it and will be my go to recipe , thanx

Yummy, mine didn't turn out as dark as the ones at Starbucks but the taste was the same.

It was very good. I added 1/2 tsp of nutmeg. I will indeed make this again, with a little less sugar. CCM

Would really recommend this one! It’s The definition of perfect banana bread :)

Delicious! But cooked too fast, not done in the middle. I added ground clove & nutmeg, brown sugar, not white.
Will try again 👍

Very easy. Also mixed some crushed walnuts into the batter itself along with the top

It was delicious! I have never had the Starbucks bread so I can’t comment on that, but we enjoyed this recipe. It was easy to make and so moist! I will definitely make it again!
