I love this banana bread, it was moist and the streusel made it decadent

I wanted this to be more like banana bars vs bread so poured thin layer of batter, then streusel mix (added nutmeg to the streusel), then more batter into two 8x8 pans. Topped both with additional streusel and pecans. Used pecans instead of walnuts simply because that’s what I had. Baked for a good 40 minutes and it came out super moist, slightly heavy…which is how I wanted it to be. Keep in refrigerator and slice into squares. AWESOME very banana-ey. A definite repeat!

This recipe is the bomb it tastes just like Starbucks bread and is perfect for getting rid of old bananas. I highly recommend this recipe for good banana bread. The strudel makes a bit more than I needed but you will love the taste.

This banana bread turned out very well! I opted to add the streusel layer, so glad I did. I also sprinkled some left over streusel mixture over the top before baking so yummy will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe!

I always add an equal amout of backing powder (equal to the baking soda) because I feel it doesn’t rise enough on its own.

The only thing I did different is I used 4 bananas instead of 3. My family loved it and can’t wait until I make it again. It turned out perfect!

I followed the recipe except I added one extra banana but was way too much ingredients and wouldn’t cook

It was very good but a little too much sugar for my taste. I would like to try it again with a fraction of the sugar. I will update my comments on the difference if I do.

I've made this recipe 4 or 5 times and it turns out wonderful every time. I've passed on the recipe to others and even made mini breads for gifts.

Great! Layered the streusel. Baked it 10 minutes longer. So good!

I made this recipe today and it came out really good. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil because that’s what was on hand. I didn’t add all of the streusel filling because it looked like a lot.
