Great recipe. Added extra seasonings - garlic, pepper and served with a dipping sauce

Great basic recipe. Easy to mix, easy to fry. The fritters stay firm like a fritter is suppose to. First time I made it per the recipe. It was really good but a bit bland. The next time, I made with about 1 tsp of ground chipotle pepper, some dill and paprika (taking a note from my mother to eyeball the amount, sorry). They were awesome! My hubby wants us to try adding cheese to it, too. First up: parmesan.
