- 3/4 cup chickpeas (dried organic whole)
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt (or Himalayan salt)
- 3 Tbsp. Tahini
- 1 sweet potato (approx. 1 cup, although I only need 1 sweet potato for the hummus, I cook more in the same batch and serve the rest with meals or use in other recipes. See notes below for alternatives.)
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (approx. juice of 1 large lemon)
