- pate brisee (Martha's, {this what the page says from the magazine that I saved years ago} Recipe by Martha Stewart.)
- 2 3/4 all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (course)
- 1 cup hand (cold unsalted {I used salted because I had it on, and then didn't add the other salt})
- 7 Tbsp. cold water ({more if needed})
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 cups milk ({I use 15%})
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter
