- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (or shallots)
- 10 green onions (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 2/3 cup fresh dill (chopped)
- 3/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half (cream)
- 1/2 cup double cream (heavy)
- 1/4 lb. feta cheese (preferably French)
- tomato sauce (or Marinara Sauce, if using)
- 1 1/4 cups Kalamata olives (black, with pits, yielding 1 packed cup of olive meat)
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. lemon zest (from 1 lemon)
- 2 garlic cloves (pressed)
- 4 leaves basil (minced, 1 tablespoon)
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. orange zest (optional)
