  • 11 ounces feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill (chopped)
  • 8 sheets phyllo dough (sheets thawed, 12x7 in each)
  • 3/4 cup melted butter (or extra virgin olive oil, I've used a mixture of both and it works great)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt (optional, since feta is pretty salty most of the time)
