Delicious, simple and cheap but beware of 1.5tsp of cayenne - it will melt your face off. My husband, brother and I all love really spicy food (we like to do hot sauce taste tests regularly) but this was too spicy for all of us - even my “barely breaks a sweat eating ghost pepper sauce” husband. I’ve made this more than once and usually cut the amount of cayenne in half.

Very good recipe! I used a little more potato and also only 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper instead of 1.5 tsp. I would probably even use less next time as I know once this sits in the fridge for a couple days it will be quite spicy. I will add raisins or currants to balance the dish and add a splash of sweet and perhaps some crushed cashews. Nice recipe!

So spicy and easy and so delicious! I add 28 oz of the tomatoes just because that's the size of my can.

Solid! The first time I subbed a few T of tomato paste for the tomatoes and chopped carrots/parsley for peas. Today I used tomato sauce and added carrots, zuke, celery, and cashews. It's a perfectly versatile basic curry. Thanks!

This is my all-time favorite :) I've cooked it up many times. Every time it tastes a bit different, but always delicious. I could already convince many guests of this one :)
The only thing I have to mention: 2 tea spoons of salt is way too much. The strong and varied spice composition does not need so much salt, I usually cook it completely without it.

This is one of my favorite curries! It’s delicious and filling, has great spice, and is really easy to make. I used all the listed measurements but did a tablespoon of garam masala and curry powder each (which is still a lot) and 8oz of peas. Also used petite diced tomatoes so they broke up more in the curry. At the end I simmered for 10min and let it sit for 5!

This is a fantastic recipe and so quick and easy! I wouldn't change a thing and I'll make it again for sure. Nice and spicy too.

Great main for dinner! It was delicious and quite easy once I assembled everything first. Not liking much spicy heat, I used 1/4 tsp. chili pepper instead of the Cayenne. I could take that or leave it as it turned out. Either way I will definitely be making this again! Thanks for sharing.

It was an easy curry to make - all the girls at work asked for the recipe as it smelt delicious - I did use more potatoes ... I don't think I will use canned peas again?
