Spicy is the key word here. I cut back on the heat ingredients but my wife said still too hot for her taste.
If you like hot, it’s good. If not so much, reduce cumin, red & black pepper by half or more. Good alternative to Chinese fried rice recipes.

Loved this. Didn’t have a pepper on hand, so skipped that, no problem. Added extra oil as I added the spices and again with the rice as mine had dried out a bit as I tried to time this with a couple other things cooking. Went heavy on turmeric and light on the chili powder, and the flavor was excellent.
