Delicious! I wouldn’t change anything about this recipe; my husband and I both love it.

added a red bell pepper too and even some white cap mushrooms go well with it too!

This is one of my husband's favorites and he asks for it all the time - no matter the weather. Sometimes I kick it up with a spicier rotel, but it's delightful even with the mild.

I've been making this for a long time now, and the whole family loves it. It's easy to make and good for busy week nights and next day left over lunches.

Unfortunately the smoked sausage in this recipe didnt suit the taste of my family. That being said, I will make again with either chicken or Italian sausage as the pasta portion of the dish has potential *EDIT** made again with the substitution of Italian sausage. This fell short again, and unfortunately my husband confessed that he hated it on both attempts. Many elements of this dish dont flow, and it actually leaves the pallette a little confused.

This combination of flavor sounded so wonderful and it did not disappoint. This dinner was one where you take a first bite, sit back and go mmmmm!
