- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 6 Tbsp. oil (argan, I used sunflower)
- 6 onions ( large, finely diced)
- 9 cloves garlic (minced)
- 500 mL tomato juice
- 400 grams chopped tomatoes (tinned)
- 300 grams apricots halved (dried)
- 150 grams raisins (or sultanas)
- 2 preserved lemons (chopped)
- 200 grams flaked almonds (blanched)
- 2 tsp. saffron (strands, soaked in cold water)
- 1 liter chicken stock
- 3 Tbsp. clear honey
