- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 green onions (cleaned, ends trimmed and rough chopped)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (from sun-dried tomatoes, or olive oil)
- 1/4 tsp. salt (and pepper)
- 1 1/2 lb. sweet peas (fresh shelled, you want about 2 cups of peas total, baby frozen peas can be used instead)
- 1/2 lb. penne pasta (4 servings of, or other pasta of your choice)
- 1 lb. sausage links (hot chicken, casings removed)
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish, optional)
- fresh basil (julienned for garnish, optional)
