We went lighter on the ginger and instead of cloves (I didn’t have any) I used some nutmeg. The cookies are perfect. Soft and the flavor delightful. I didn’t have wax paper so I just rolled and transferred to the cookie sheet. Being able to freeze before transfer would have been better but still worked. This will be my go to recipe from now on!
