Simple and tasty. I do however leave out the thyme (I don't like it) and the brown sugar. We throw the chops on the grill and call it good.

Excellent! You could skip over putting the porkchops in the oven, but i wpuldnt recommend it. Baking in the oven made them extra juicy with a great crust versus just in the frying pan. Next time I will leave out the brown sugar and add a little more salt.

The rub for these pork chops is perfect! I have a container of this rub I make and keep in my spice cabinet now just for this recipe. The pork chops in the cast iron skillet... The flavor and tenderness is WoW! My husband always says... When are you making those pork chops again? Lol! Thank you for sharing this great recipe!
