- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed, from 1 orange)
- 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 strip orange peel (from 1 orange, peeled with a potato peeler)
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider (unfiltered)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 whole cloves
- 4 cardamom pods (crushed)
- 1 1/2 cups frozen cranberries (or fresh)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 vanilla bean (split and scraped)

Directions
- Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until sugar completely dissolves and syrup gets hot, about 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from heat, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain syrup and chill in the KitchenAid® French Door Refrigerator until at least room temperature for up to one week. Combine 1 to 2 tablespoons syrup with 8 to 12 ounces cold sparkling water and a few ice cubes. Adjust to taste.
- Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until apple cider reduces by half, about 10 to 15 minutes.
