We loved this rice with spinach. I added some cooked chicken pieces to include the protein. It was almost gone for dinner between the two of us except for a plateful for lunch the next day for one. It was delicious.

I loved this rice and so did my family! I did modify the recipe, I turned up the heat once I put the rice in and added more water. You should do this too, it will save you lots of time. Especially do this if you are using basmati rice! My mom adored this so I will be making it again :) This is a great thing to let cook while you whip up some sort of protein!
