- 8 cloves garlic
- 200 grams raw cashew nuts (coarsely chopped and roasted at around 120C to a light golden brown)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- spaghetti (and garnish, optional)
- 4 spaghetti (servings of, or any long strand pasta variety of your choice)
- 12 prawns (fresh large)
- 2 chilli (cili padi (bird’s eye, or for less heat 1 large red chilli)
- 3 leaves Vietnamese coriander (aka laksa leaves, optional)
- 1 bunga kantan (torch ginger blossom, optional)
- 2 Tbsp. kerisik (toasted grated coconut, optional)
