Pretty good! I liked it but my husband is not a fan of pasta. The bacon helped me get him to eat it. Nice and easy too!

Incredible, many of the bad reviews are from people who maybe didnt read it thoroughly enough! I use 500kg spaghetti, 4 whole large eggs and 1 extra yolk. You MUST lower the heat significantly before adding the egg mixture and mix FAST! The egg will cook from the residual heat, this will leave the spaghetti beautifully creamy. Hope this helps!

My husband's first comment was "where's the sauce?" :-( I made this but perhaps I was missing some information. It was pretty dry and like many reviewers, perhaps more eggs would have helped. Also, how do you not cook the eggs based on the recipe. Perhaps I was lost but it never said, to cool anything off. It was VERY garlicky which wasn't too bad but worth pointing out. Overall, I will make again but would try to find a way to make it less dry. For now, we added olive oil as we ate it. We also served German brats on the side.

Fantastic! Simple, delicious. The whole family loved it and I’ll be making this again. I added in a bit of chopped ham as that’s how we used to eat this when I was a kid. But the recipe is perfect.

Delicious!! It begins with the texture of the pasta; supple, and warm - I opt for the bucatini, which is a thick hollow spaghetti that meets my criteria when cooked slightly past aldente. It’s important to cut your bacon strips into bite size pieces before cooking to ensure the edges of each morsel are crisped to perfection. That bacon is going to leave a little too much grease, so scoop just a tad out of the skillet, so as not to saturate your noodle or drown out the flavor of the Parmesan. Let’s talk cheese...the success of this recipe is dependent upon freshly shredded Parmesan; it gives this recipe that punch of fresh flavor that I promise will not be achieved by shaking parmesan out of the top of a plastic jar.

Very good- and completed quickly I added a few mushrooms to cook with the bacon. The extra water from the cooked pasta was needed.maybe add a bit more to keep the dish from being too dry.

Just make sure to whisk eggs & cheese together just before incorporating into the pasta. Too soon and the mixture thickens and becomes "gluey". Great taste and very easy.

Followed the recipe the first time and it turned out good. The next time I substituted pancetta for the bacon and now it's in the regular meal rotation.

Was absolutely delicious! Replaced the bacon with pancetta and it added a ton of flavor. Too much garlic for my taste though; I only used 3 cloves and it still permeates the dish. Will probably use 2 next time (as there will definitely be a next time)

Made it for dinner we had chicken parm on the side. it was wonderfully filling! everyone enjoyed it abd the portions were enough that all 5 of use could go back for seconds and there wad still enough left for us to have someone take it for lunch the next day! will definitely be a regular on our menu. will definitely be making it again!
