Too much red pepper, next time I will use half what the recipe called for. Cooked the ham hock for 1hr and the greens for 1hour and half. Great flavor otherwise.

The times seem a bit off, or maybe the temperature for that time but in all a decent recipe.

This recipe would’ve been 5 stars if the cooking times weren’t off for me. This is the best seasoned recipe I’ve ever tried, quantity:ratio. I cooked the ham hocks for 1 hr 30 min and then added the greens. I cooked the hocks and greens together for an additional 1 hr 30 min. I took the hocks out and let them cool before adding the shredded meat back to the pot. So yummy and tender.
