Love the recipe and everything was easy to make especially the biscuits was a bit nervous for the biscuits but they came out amazing and just had to add seasoning to give it taste, other than that great comfort food recipe

This came out great I had to add more seasoning to the recipe and I made mine in the crock pot.

Like with any other recipe, I always put my own little twists to make it worthy of my signature. Don’t get me wrong. This is a great southern style recipe as is, but a few little tweaks and it is over the top restaurant quality.
I add chopped fresh carrots and celery to the broth....about 1/2 cup of each. I allow this to cook on medium heat until the celery is tender (about 20 minutes). I also use white pepper instead of black and I serve it with fresh cracked pepper on top. The rest is done as written in the recipe.

I was rather skeptical of this recipe at first because I feared it would taste bland but it ended up being a memorablely good meal. It reminded me of Cracker Barrel's dish but even better. As someone who's never made something like this before, it was also fun to make the dumplings. Great family meal!

Perfect everyone had at least two bowls full.
Dumplings are amazing, just remember they are noodle consistency, like a noodle.

I made this with two rotisserie traditional style chicken along with the ingredients prescribed and it made this dish Devine! This is one of those dishes you want seconds even thirds from. I’ll definitely be making this my go to recipe!

I love this dumpling reciepe it reminds me of my grandmas in Missouri. It’s my go to when making chicken soup.
