fantastic comfort food, add in different spices, and vegetables to change it up and add more flavor.

Very good and great casserole base. I added Thyme, Paprika, Marjoram and onion powder to cream sauce. I used Panko, Poppyseeds, Chives in topping and sprinkled with Smoked Paprika. Served with rice made with chicken broth from poaching chicken. I make new recipes close to original recipe first then make them more my own. Next time I want to add asparagus or mixed Vegetables as suggested. Would be a nice topping for Biscuits or Dumplings instead of rice. A comfort food, for sure!

Good. I added an onion layer. Also added fresh thyme leaves, garlic powder and paprika.

This was an amazing recipes, very simple to make. Everyone at dinner had 2nds and some even 3rds. It was def a hit with my husband and kids. I will be making this quite often.

So good. We didn't make it with poppy seed because I have a picky eater but she approves this recipe. Defjjitely saving this so we can make it again.

Love this recipe! The only thing I did different was to eliminate the poppy seeds and use fully cooked diced chicken. The first time I made it I served it over egg noodles. It was delicious. This time I’m serving it over rice. I’ll definitely make this again. It’s a hit every time!

Added mushrooms and a little cheddar for some extra texture and complexity. Substituted Greek yogurt for sour cream. Very solid. Definitely making again.
