Nice texture, good flavour and easy to make. Next time though, I will bake them immediately without worrying about letting them rise.
NOTE: Second time around, I altered the recipe by first mixing the sourdough (discard from my main starter when feeding it) with the buttermilk and 1/2 cup flour. I let it sit for 3 hours, then proceeded with recipe as usual. I put them in the oven right after mixing the dough and cutting it into biscuits. They rose much better!
