- 3 cups water (wrist temperature, 95°F - 115°F)
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. yeast
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 6 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour

Directions
- Dissolve yeast and honey in warm water. Let sit 5 minutes.
- Start with 5½ cups flour; combine with yeast/honey water and stir with a wooden spoon. If dough is very sticky, add additional flour ¼ cup at a time until a very soft dough forms. Do not knead. Cover and let rise at least 2-3 hours, but the best results come when dough has been refrigerated overnight.
- Sprinkle a bit of cornmeal on parchment-lined baking sheet.

Where is the sourdough in the ingredients? Sourdough bread requires sourdough starter.

This is not a sourdough bread . Sourdough is made with a starter . Not one in a packet . But one that is started in a container takes 2 weeks of tending and removing and adding the right kind of organic flour to allow it's natural enzyme oils and strength ferment into a yeast so you can make all sorts of healthy recipes . This is a cottage bread . And is very delicious in its own rite . But not in any fashion a sourdough bread .

perfect- since ive tried making starter an it doesnt work ugggg, but this is much easier an less of a pain lol
