    I used 2 cups of sugar instead of 3. 1 hour in loaf pans. Will update when I taste it.

    Got up at 7:00am just to bake this cake, I thought after I finished baking I can cut them and share with some elderly friends. Love baking and giveaways to the elderly. This is the best ever!! My husband said to keep the recipe for future. Instead of using 3cups of sugar I decreased it to 2 cups. It’s perfect!! Still sweet...thank you very much

    Great! Very easy recipe and the ingredients can be kept on hand for different dishes so I do not have to be concerned about “one time” ingredients. I customized the recipe, I used raw sugar and cut down on the amount of sugar and added dark chocolate baking chips! It was not too sweet and had a more coarse fulfilling taste. My husband loved it!
