So good! Used a variety of baby bella, white, and blue oyster mushrooms. Don’t skip the white wine, it adds great flavor.

An excellent mushroom soup! Great blend of herbs and spices. I added everything except the sour cream at the end because the taste was awesome and I didn’t want to mello it out with sour cream so, I served the SC on the side as an option instead. Most of my dinner guests thought it was perfect without the SC. By not using the SC it probably made it more of a soup consistency than the bisque consistancy that I expected. Next time I will use more flour to thicken it just a little more. I used shiitake, portobello and button mushrooms and I added some chopped celery. I also quadrupled the recipe because I always like to freeze several quarts for later. I used an extra large electric fryer for the Sautéed items because of the volume then a large stock pot to finish. Definitely added this to my best recipes to serve company list, so YUM!

Fantastic recipe. I added another 8 oz. of crimini mushrooms and 1/3 cup of Marsala cooking wine while sautéing the mushrooms. Loved it.

i added ground pork to it for protein but it turned out well. i will have more of a variety of mushrooms next time i make it.

Absolutely fantastic. I subbed nonfat greek yogurt and 2% milk for the thickener. I also added half a glass of white wine when the mushrooms were cooking.

came out better then i thought. I also served with cheese on the side for anyone wanting to add some to their bowl!
