WAY too much liquid. I was concerned before I started the bread maker and sure enough, the dough was trapped in a corner as it typically is when there is a poor ratio of flour to liquid. Added a full cup of bread flour... it's still almost waffle dough consistency. I make a lot of bread, including wetter doughs like cibatta. Maybe if you use powdered milk and add another cup of flour this might turn out a loaf of bread. No way anything that wet is going to rise normally in a regular bread machine cycle.
FIX: Since flour is still sort of scare, I didn't really want to throw this out, but it was obvious that it was going to be an epic fail, so I canceled the bread cycle added 2 more cups of flour (so SIX cups total) which was much closer to what most bread recipes I have as a ratio of flour to liquid and put it on the "dough" cycle at which point I have something that looks like bread dough. Gonna let it rise and then use the "bake only" cycle, but you could certainly take it out and put it in a loaf pan.
